ELECTRONIC DATA INTERCHANGE (EDI)
As a JFP Benefit Management Inc., client, you can rest assured that all claims are processed utilizing state of the art equipment and programs to optimize adjudication timelines and maximize savings. On your behalf, we have contracted with a Network Clearinghouse that provides three distinctive advantages:
- Most significant is the cost advantage. Unlike other EDI clearinghouse vendors, there is no per-claim fee that is tacked on to client costs. (Any reimbursement to the clearinghouse is only taken as a percent of the discount savings that they net on 'out-of-network' claims).
- Since claims are submitted through our Network Clearinghouse first, every claim can be transmitted and received at JFP Benefit Management, Inc., in an electronic (EDI) format, allowing us to more efficiently handle, process and pay claims for our clients.
- Our Network Clearinghouse not only provides immediate and up-to-date access to many of the best networks in the country, but they also provide our clients with maximum flexibility and discounting capabilities based on where their employees reside. They also couple this with an out-of-network discounting process, as well. Thus, even if an employee seeks services outside of his/her given network service area, we can generally apply a discount to prevent the company from paying retail prices - without slowing the adjudication process - on such non-network claims.
